G'day all, what do all you black wolf turbo owners do with the front flap if it gets very windy?
leave up or is there a better way of securing it down

Usually leave it up but
mine came with dual guy ropes for each pole so one out in front and one to the side if it looks like being windy. Our turbo 300 (heavy duty version) has stood up to some horiffic storms where other tents at the
campsite were either flattened or literally blew away. Yet to have any damage as a result and the tent is nearing 10 years old.

Thanks for the reply,
sounds great,
mine is the HD canvas one too, just wondered, going out this weekend n not had it in a big one yet, and the flap was my only concern if it got rough.
Will stick with the original setup then, I got double ropes too.
Noticed my clips for guy been distorting and sorta melting in sun, might take
pic n email to rep for a couple new ones, I know service back up is just the best, one of reasons of purchase.

We make the poles as short as possible with 2 guy ropes to each pole. Set up like this we have camped through some mojar storms with no problems.

Thanks mate, will stick to plan n just guy tight, always had faith in tent just flap was always a suspect area as it sits up n into wind and isnt really aerodynamic.
