Tint a Car in Scoresby, they have done about 4 of our vehicles and a few of my mates cars and all have been a brilliant job. once our caprice ended up with a small bubble in the passenger window, took it back not expecting much of a result, they said have i got 1/2 an hour, yep i says and away he went, they removed the tint and redid it. all free of charge, he said any other problems just bring it back.fortunately all our others and friends have had no hassle with the tint, and always good job of it to boot.

Don't personally know of a good window tinterin Melbourne, but the wife is down in Vic at the moment on holidays and just picked up a 4.2 GU Patrol that needs tinting before heading back to the Territory, window tint in South West Vic quotes ranged from $320 - $360 all wiith lifetime warranties.

Look up Dr. Tint in Bonbeach or Carrum, from memory. I had my Disco done by him and he is excellent. Does a great job and competitively priced, though I haven't had the Cruiser done yet.

No affiliations etc,....

Cheers,

Mark

Tinting, darker than legal may result in a defect notice and rejection of any claim by Insurance . They will do anything to reduce or negate their liability with a claim.

Thanks guys for all your helpful info.

Tint a Car is actually about 300metres from where I work in Knoxfield.

I have one of the fairly new 3 door Pajero VRXs which come from the factory with rear side windows already tinted (or is it dark glass, I don't know) but the windows in the doors are untinted. Tint A Car quoted me just $120 for these windows and is booked in for tomorrow.

Impressed with the premises, their personal presentation and workshop cleanliness.

All good so far.

Thanks again people, always a pleasure to ask on this forum. Great people.

True Blue.
