Buying a fridge for my cruiser has been an interesting project, after extensive research and listening to what different owners had to say about their purchase made things a "little confusing" What I have learnt is "Never knock a blokes fridge”, he is likely to take it very personally.
I found some very useful info worth checking out at this link:

It just about sums it all up and yes I did purchase a fridge, I went for a Waeco CF80, like most of the others it is a fine fridge, just better value for me.

Good luck

Yep has all of these, never owned a CF50 so can't compare, as it has a bigger compresser it would chew more power

Doesn't the CF80 have thicker insulation? If so and it was kept full it may not chew more power at all.

Doubling the insulation thickness means the fridge uses 1/4 of the power to maintain the temp (when not opened).
