What ever the politicians try to tell you there is no such thing as DAYLIGHT SAVING only clock fiddling. I for one and many more am glad it is over. It is nice to be able to get out of bed and go to work in daylight. A definite "NO" vote from me.
If the "NO" votes win some bright Charlie will try and introduce it again in a couple of years.
If big business want it let them get out of bed an hour earlier and leave the rest of us alone.
I used to work in Singapore and we had to deal with the Middle East.
I believe they were five hours behind us and had Friday and Saturday off work where we had Saturday and Sunday off but the tankers came in just the same.

Daylight Saving has been around for so long I would have thought that you would be used to it by now

It never bothered me before and now that I am retired it doesn't feature in my daily doings. Just shift the clock whichever way.

We should divide the country into 5 time zones and leave it at that, methinks

And once again anyone whose phone is set by the network has had it changed to the wrong time, thought Telstra would have fixed it after the last debacle

Yeh Willem I reckon when you are retired or semi retired, you give your watch a rest,at the moment on weekends or holidays, I never ever wear my watch, and thats my plan for the future, I'll just let the Cook worry about time, as I stated a few threads back, just worry about Meal Times and Good Times, lol lol.

Day light saving...?????????????????? it's only good for the top end of town in WA, who have put this country on it's knees, and we dont need it,I dont have a watch since i retired in 1990, and when you dont have one on the arm, you feel so much better, and go about your daily life, with out so much stress......."Try it", take of the time piece and releax, then through it in the bin.

Cheers for now.....William H...Bunbury...WA.

I am not of your vintage or up to retiring full time yet as much as i would like to.
Dya light saving is a waste of time in my world.
