Mitsubishi L300 engine transplant

Hi Guy"s

I am after some information if any one can help. My Father in law has a Mitsubishi L300 4x4 with a 2.0ltr motor which is cactus, has anyone got any idea's for an engine transplant.

we have been told that a V6 commodore motor will fit, can anyone help

I know of some who have fitted a Mitsubishi 2.6 Astron motor in them. Back 'em stand on their back wheels from rushed start...lol

Just searching google for some other stuff for my Express and came across this website that has a conversion kit for a Holden V6 to go into an Express.

An ex work colleague stuck a 2.6 in his plus a body lift,all went well but that was in 1989,i am sure much better engines have been stuck in them over the last 20 years.
