There is a
Niagara Dam SE of
Leonora, near a town called
Kookynie in WA eastern goldfields.
Dam was built in the late 1890's for the railway. Great camping spot.

Places Directory on this site does not come up with a Lake Nigari, so its possible you either have the name wrong or it does not exist??
Crystal Lake in NSW comes up look
Here
And Crystal Lake in WA near
Esperance also comes up.
Look
Here
The
Places Directory on here is a wealth of info you just need to spend the time to enter the possible variances of the location you are looking for.
Do you know the state this lake may be in??
Whats so special about this lake?
Or any other points of relevance its in or near, IE mountain ranges, desert area etc.
If it exists in this country then odds are that someone who visits this site has heard or it or been there.

It seems your looking for the source of a product called Nigari and it appears to come from the Salt Lakes near
Esperance in WA.
The link above in
Ross's post references Lake Crystal in WA.
My
places link above will give you the location.
Hope this helps.

Thanks to all who answered my query it appears as if Nigeri is a product derived from the salt they harvest. And I assume the lake is Crystal lake out from
Esperance.
Thanks & Cheers .
