I have just built a storage unit for in the rear of my GU Patrol and am trying to work out if a half height cargo barrier will fit over my creation.
Would anyone be able to give me the distance a half height barrier comes down from the roof/hood, or alternately the distance one of these barriers is from the floor in the rear of the Patrol.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

To give you an idea of what I did (and size), I have an Engle 40l with 2 drawers beside it. I bought a Milford cargo barrier from an AU Falcon. I cut like the bottom 350mm off it and used that for my barrier. Turn it upside down and you will see...
I then bought some square tube and welded that allong the bottom. I cut tags etc off the old barrier and welded them on and cut the arms to length that mount up near the grab handles. If I get time I will take a
pic.
You can
pic the falcon barriers off ebay for $20!
Cheers,
Leroy

Thanks Leroy,
I hadn't thought of doing something like that, but it is a good idea, and then it would be the perfectly height for the unit I have built. I would appreciate seeing a couple of pics if time permits.
