Is there any such list available for LPG outlets for inland Australia ,
If not would anyone Know of LPG outlets for -:
charleville,
Birdsville,
Marree,inamincka,
coober pedy,
Alice springs.
Mate has gas in his GU patrol which has replaced his rear fuel tank, Which leaves him with only 400kms of petrol storage in front tank.
I suggested he take two jerry cans for extra petrol.
But If there is LPG available in some of these towns He could only need to carry one possibily none.

Hi
Good idea to carry a few jerry cans for travelling the more remote areas.
As some
places say they have lpg but when you get there
the only pump is out of order of the next lpg delivery is tomorrow.

Yo can definitely buy gas at Cooper Pedy,
Erldunda,
Alice Springs and from a number of road houses on the Stuart Highway. From memory so does
Pimba Road House (at the turn off to
Woomera).

Lyndhurst has lpg and was 10cpl cheaper than
Leigh Creek (last august anyway).
Check LPGAustralia it lists most but not all outlets.
Hema maps Road and 4wd atlas appears to show all outlets.
Cheers
Ross

Don't trust any outback lists for LPG. Even on some of the major roads. Some won't have it at all as deliveries to Mines etc now take a different route and they don't receive deliveries anymore.
Others run out in busy times and you can wait for days or even weeks for the next load to arrive.
