Good morning all,
I am after a bit of info from people that have used King springs in there cruisers as to what spring set ups they used, i have fitted to my vehicle the following,
Winch bar and 9500Lb winch
Dual Batteries
Rear roller _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx
Roof rack
Under bonnet air compressor
Spotties
Estimate a rear constant load of roughly 200Kg with all the crap in the _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx.
I am up in there air as to what spring set up would be best suited, i am after a 50mm lift all round with the vehicle sitting level with the above constant load (Am willing to put up with a bit of sag when loaded up, may even fit polly airs) Don't want to be bouncing all around town when empty
I have emailed King Springs and am awaiting a reply, thought it best to pick everyone elses brains also, Does anyone have any experiance with a similar set up vehicle..??
Cheers lads,
Josh

Josh,
I have a King Spring/Koni Shockers set up and am very happy with it. My load is similar to yours, though I have 12,000lb winch (heavier), winch bar, side bars and side steps. I also have roller _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx in the back with some load.
I arranged
mine through "Toperformance Suspension" in Bayswater,
Melbourne, who are the distributors for Koni and I think Kings as
well.
I find them firmer than standard, but I like the ride as it's not harsh and has about the right height all round.
The shockers I fitted were Koni 90 Series "Raid", which are their top of the line shocker and are huge, with large oil capacity, which helps prevent the shocker heating up on the corrugated roads. Also very happy with them.
The whole system cost a little more than the standard ARB/OME setup, but I am very happy with it.
Give them a ring, even for their advice.
Cheers,
Mark
