My Toyota prado 2001 has a problem with the following dash lights permanently on ie VSC OFF & VSC TRAC . I just spent $200 at an auto electrician who can't fix the problem. Is it dangerous to drive with these on as I intend to travel from Melbourne to Echuca soon. Does anyone know a fix. I towed a caravan for 4 months through WA JUl to Nov 08 without one problem with the car or van, now this has just occured.

Hi Morlo

I too have at 90 series Prado. Have you made sure your switch on the dash VHC off / VHC trace (depicted by 4 wheels and gearbox) is not switched on. Perhaps by mistake you bumped this switch.

The switch is located on the extreme right hand side of the dash below the side mirror adjustment controls.

Look at page 146 of your owners manual for further details.
