Well, drove around Peterborough S.A. on weekend and found many interesting activities happening.

The town had : Art exhibition, Quilt & craft exhibition, History group - Scouting exhibition, Markets, Collectibles, Display of old vehicles, Steamtown & railway history), Garden exhibitions, Blacksmith exhibition, Motorbike museum, and possibly much more.

Great to see a country location doing something to promote Talents and Activities without publicity and sales. All proceeds
( Donations) went to local Charities including local hospital, etc.

Watch out P&J, Peterboroughs unofficial mayor will be a long in a moment to further extol the virtues of the place. I'd hazard a guess and say that if you went to the art exhibition, you have probably already met or seen him (and defintily his better half who is very active in the local arts scene). Did a big tall bearded fellow with a slight accent try to sell you anything?

Cheers Mick

He'll be raising money for the local causes Richard which is good to see. God knows a lot of the smaller country towns will be suffering due to the economic downturn. Nice country over there. Always liked the country north of Goyders Line.

Cheers, Mick

Every man has his Nemesis. Mine lives in the house with me. The most asked question by me is 'How High do I jump'? :-) I am but only the 'Councillor's' husband and thats about it....lol
