My 8 year old Nissan supplied IPF
driving lights are giving very weak light.
I have been offered HID globe and wiring loom replacements for the old IPF globes for approx. $400, which is half what one HID light costs. (sounds too good to be true)
Has any one used the replacement globes and is the system as good as they claim?

Pling, your old IPF lights have probably got dimmer because the reflectors have degraded over time. Maybe look on Ebay for new HID spots, no problems with fitting globes and ballasts etc. Some pretty cheap 55 watt HIDs on Ebay at the moment.

The Iron man HID's seem pretty
well priced, havn't heard much about them from people who have purchased them.
I could be wrong but cant see how one wiring loom is better than another?
