I seem to remember a crossing close to the old pub where Black'nWhite Bar use to be. Dunno, 'twas 30 years ago...LOL

Hmmm I see two bridges down near Willare RH where the Fitzroy crosses the GNH. According to the map the road also crosses near Noonkanbah. But there must be a clue about fishermen. Not being into fishing I wouldn't know then :-)

I reckon either Willare Bridge though it looks a lot different to when we were there late last year, or Langey Crossing which is not far from there.

You have hit the nail on the head mate, The
pic is of
Langi Crossing circa 1953, is the original crossing of the GNH through to
Derby and beyond.
All thats left these days are the approachs to the crossing with the Northern aproach totally over grown, and also the stumps which have smashed many a persons prop.
There is a lot more water there these days, is a fantastic spot for barra just as the river starts to settle.
Good work mate, will have to make it a bit harder next time.
