Darling River Run Feedback

We travelled the Darling 12 months ago just after Easter. From Brenda's Gate, the Culgoa and all the way down to Wentworth, with two days on a House boat at Wentworth. A great trip. When we went (unlike the last comment), there was water in the Lakes with some flowing into Menindee Lake (even if it was to water the grass for the Cattle). We did not want to leave our camp-site at Kinchega on the banks of the Darling.
The trip out towards Ivanhoe and then down to Mungo is a worthy addition to the trip.
Also Trilby Station at Louth is a great stop over with local self drive tour.

Thanks for this. My wife and I are going to travel the Darling this year. I am hoping to cover some of Sturt's Desert trip, and am looking forward to it.

I agree with Kinchega. Stayed there a number of times and love the place.
Cheers
