Hi,

My partner and I have booked in at Teewah beach for easter. But since its been flooding up there etc, I'm wondering whether to still go will it still be busy etc. So if anyone lives in the area that could fill me in.
Otherwise will be looking for somewhere else nice to camp within about 4 hrs of Toowoomba either way. Any ideas or camp spots would be helpful

Thanks

Hi,
Towed the caravan up there last weekend and had no troubles at all, even took the first cutting with hard tyres plenty of beach just a couple of rocks exposed at teewah township up close to the sand dunes. I would say it will be busy over easter hence the reason we took the van up early, we have a couple of people staying all week but the wind up there at the moment is quite strong apparently, I have lost my en suite in it.

Bit hard to pick really... Easter by tradition is "tent city" all along the beach and at Inskip Point.... this is one week of the year where I avoid camping at all cost.

Mind you the weather is poo and has been for some time so the numbers may well be down on previous years..

Hi Guys,

Thanks for that

Yeh thats what I thought. Easter is the worst to find quiet camp spots. But I guess for a lot of us its the only time you get a good long weekend to get away. I think we'll still head up and if its real crap and crowded we'll head inland or something.
