Mate had the shocks on his troopie and they were worse then the old stuffed OME's. Put Ironman on and best ride ever. I did same, but i wnet the full Ironman kit on my 75 series and was way better then the existing Old Man Emu i had. Ironman for me for now on. I have done heaps of k's with them including
Gibb River road other
Kimberley tracks and they have performed flawlessly.

Don't know if your mate had the right spec shocks, I have IFS on my Troopie and have preformed much better than the Ome's I had on previously.

Mark, I have had the 2 inch EFS performance kit for about 6 months now. I have found them pretty good when empty, ablet a little bit harsher than the comfort kit.
loaded up full to the brim. they perform at their best, great set up.
they are starting to settle in now, i am very impressed with them.
