Deep cycle batteries

I am considering buying an "Amptek" deep cycle battery for my 4wd. Has anyone had any experience with Amptek batteries.

Thanks in advance

Hi Robbo,

Unfortunately l have bad news to share with you.
l had an Amptek 120 a/h D/C battery which failed on me after 12 months.
It had been used for a fridge 24/7 and was never let to run flat.

lt had done some fairly rough work, but hey, dont we all.
It dropped a cell l am told. Just out of warranty!!!! mmmm

l wont go there again.

Regards. Col.

Same thing here - I got 2 years out of a 105 ah Amptech.

The battery had a hard life so not sure if it was me or the battery, but was hoping for more than 2 years.

Won't get the same again

Sorry about my spelling of "AmpTech".

Thanks for the advice guys.
By the way, it is a wet cell battery.
