Hi

I am trying to find out the name of the Waterfall Reef off Broome as mentioned by Malcolm Douglas in his show on TV a couple of weeks ago.

Can anyone help please.

No.

There is a reef off Broome (??) that turns into a waterfall at the change of tide too.Malcolm Douglas showed it on TV and said it was a good fishing area but he didn't mention the name. I have been trying to find out what and where it is every since with no success.

Thanks. How do we get out there? Do you know of hire companies? Is it a fishing adventure?

Plenty of charter boats visit Montgomerie Reef, usually on extended trips of the Kimberley coast though. I think a 4 day trip out to the Rowley Shoals is about $4000p/p and it could include a trip to see the Reef but not sure. Im sure you could tailor a trip to your needs, as some companies have had a few cancellations this year due to the worldwide crisis. They will probably have to bend over backwards this year to survive. Try the Broome Tourist Centre, but i think its mainly extended tours out that way. Though im sure there would be someone willing to do to the custom trip for a price.Odyssey

Odyssey is just an example, there are heaps of these companies running these tours with a huge range of different vessels and prices.
