For many years Easter was the time for the first big trip of the year for me.

Typically on Friday night, we'd be driving into Burra with the waning gibbous moon rising behind us. The luxuriousBurra Hotel with its chilled refreshments, lures excited travellers into letting their remaining hair down.

Then at dawn the following morning, bleary eyed, heading north to the arid centre.

Instead, I worked today.

That's terrible Bob. I'd rather be heading out too, but that is a few weeks away. But work! I'm doing as little as i can today. Hope you get a holiday soon.

MH

Down to Tom Groggin and points south for two nights on Sunday.

A proper trip later in the year :-)

Bob,

If Tom Groggin is not to your liking, try Geehi Rest Area, a little to the north.

You can't take it with you, Bob.

And if you could it would probably melt....hahahahaha

I worked too, sort of, showing visitors around the garden. Definitely going to disappear from sight this time next year

If I took 3 months off it would be more a case of leading a tag a long trip with the bank manager in vehicle number 2.

I worked today as well, I had my mind made up to head down to Tallebudgera Creek and put the crab pots out and do a bit of fishing, it's a stones throw from where we live, but the Cook had other ideas, she had me in the office helping to sort out a few over due invoices that had to go out, our young book keeper has been away on leave, and the Cook didn't want to over load her when she comes back, with extra work, but things will be different tomorrow I'll show her who wears the pants lol lol.

Cheers
