I have a Tom Tom 500 and what I would like to know is there anyway you can get the GPS Coordinates out of it for a given location or is it just the little red arrow that tells you where you are at.

The book does not say how but it does not say you cant.

The GPS co ordinated for our home loctaion is wrong on Google and now also on EO and Michelle tells me I need to give her the correct GPS Coordinates as that is the only way she can override the existing location.

My HF GPS is currently configured wrong and something that should have been easy is now becoming a mamoth task.

If it cannot be gleaned from the TOm Tom than I will have to return to Newcastle to have the HF reconfigured .

Any advice will be appreciated.

You should be able to navigate to the GPS status screen and that will give you your current coordinates

Thank you you made me look further as I could not find a statis screen I searched and found an icon that said display full menu.

Scrolling through the full menu I found an Icin "Where am I"

It showed me and posted the coordinated.

The only thing it did not do which it should have was to tell be I was a bloody idiot for not looking hard enough in the first place.

Ill hide as I am not prepared to admit anything I couldnt do to you know who.

Explorer you have to make me feel guilty when I was feeling good and it was only because the grandkids were not here to show me and I had to do it myself and now I know I should have waited
