Kim and Damn Dog
Damn Dog has had a pretty rough time after recent surgery, and me getting up a dozen times at night; she’s totally buggared during the day.
So to make up for it, I bought her a porterhouse steak and cooked it with a fair amount of care. Then sprinkled a few Schmackos pieces around the side, along with MyDog prime beef pellets.
She fair dinkum lost it, and nearly had heart failure with excitement.
Damn Dog is sitting at my feet as I write this, and must be the most contented mutt on the planet at the moment.
So next time I go bush, I might throw in a bit of beef for her, and we can both sit there tearing at it with our aging gums! LOL.
Regards
Kim

It's the old thing, man's best friend. We will do anything for our dogs and we get so attached to them. That's why I don't want to get a dog, much to the disgust of our son. We had a Border Collie when we were kids - she lived to be 19 I think. Every Saturday when dad came
home from work mum would have all the continental lunch goodies ready and she would make a sandwich for the pooch. Latvian liverwurst & dill cucumbers on rye bread. The dog went nuts every time.
Cheers
Louie

Haaa - hope she's ok Kim.
I bet she didn't save you any of her schmackos though - they're always the bloody same eh?
We don't actually get a piece of steak for our dog - but we always buy a "generous amount"
;))

Kim,
"The Persian prophet, Zoroaster, taught his disciples that a dog's life is just as valuable as a human's. He proclaimed it a sin to serve a dog food that was too hot or to deny a dog food while humans ate."
Quote for the day!

Hi Kim, glad to hear that the pup is OK.....I call them all pups.
To me dogs are a hell of a lot better that the majority of humans.
All the best to both of you.
