Hi , Anyone got info on fuel consumption in a standard 4.2l deisel Patrol?

I get 6.8 to the Li , dos,nt matter what i am doing , i still get 6.8 to the Li .Why go overseas when you can ExplorOz

I'm pretty darn close to that too, 15 litres for every hundred km. Mines Turbo but that's still about the same. My mate has a naturally aspirated one and gets similar, 13 litres to every 100 km on long hauls.

Hi Steve!
I've got a '93 LWB GQ with the same donk - getting 11-12L per 100k's on highway cycle - once had a clogged pre-cleaner that pushed the figure up to 22L per 100k's - moral of the story: don't forget servicing/replacingyour pre-cleaner filter!
