Is there anyone on this forum, who knows about this plaque, or has been there?

Dont know about the plaque Willem but the 2 HJ60s would have been pretty new at the time - released in Australia in August 1980. They are probably still on the road somewhere.....lol

The leader was George Aspley - a life member of the Toyota Landcruiser Club of South Australia.

Yeah Phil...it says so on the plaque though I was unaware of his life time membership of a club.

I was hoping that someone would come on and narrate a story of which route was taken to Kallakoopah

Access to the Kallakoopah is via an 80km track south from the Rig Road. Need permissions I expect.
