Interesting thread on how to reveal a hidden menu on some Nuvis that allows raw track logging. I havent read it as I dont have a Nuvi but it appears that it doesnt work on some models or on some firmware versions - but anyway - may be of use to some..

Makes get reading and something else to try out. Some people out there are really switched on about this sort of stuff. Me... I am a follower when it comes to PC's and GPS stuff. I have to learn from others, and I really appreciate their ingenuity.

Wow, that's some great info there, thanks for sharing.
My Nuvi didn't even need the firmware updated.
I've found the standard track log very handy (but limited), but this is even better.
