Sounds like your got some hot property there , I need to know the Kms before I could give you a purchase price , you can respond to the
forum or direct to my email wholesalecars@optusnet.com.au , would be more than happy to give you a purchase price for the car, and what you should get in a private sale.

Sometimes your better to rip out the accessories and sell them seperately, SOMETIMES....
EG You may find that the accessproes sell for $2000 where they will only increase the car price by $1000

Not many 80 series GXL auto turbo diesel's for sale out there . Now I am assuming its the last of the 80 series .

Ben, you don't say where you live.
If you drag it up north QLD or N.T you will likely get more for it.
High demand for a turbo diesel Cruisers + not many avalable = more $$$$
My advice is to not let it go for less than you think its worth, no mater what people say (especialy car yards).
Put it on the market and if it doesn't sell soon drop the price to sell, don't go in at
rock botom.
There are people out there just waiting for a good Cruiser !.......Trust me.
Kev.

Eric quoted 28k,
In Cairns/
Townsville &
Darwin you will be lucky to find a decent 1992-3 80 series turbo diesel in a car yard for that money.
Rare as hens teeth.
Thats why i went south for one.

All too often I meet people who have bought 'cheap' only to find that by the time they do a few repairs, add some extra's and it owes them more than what they could have bought a good one for. The cheaper ones usually have high km's, tatty upholstry and paintwork. If you find a good one and it is what you want -grab it. Remember a new one with those toys will cost over $80k. Cheers

Wolf, hopefully my rig will be not be on the market for many years to come. I paid top dollar ($40k) but had 80K km on the clock, all the fruit on it and came with an offroad trailer and all the original parts (original GXL rims, fuel tank, bumpers etc). A real show pony that was 'all dressed up' but never been off the tar before I bought it.
A big 'one- off' cost but should last me my 4WD'ing days.
I was originally looking for a low km TD auto but could not find one in WA under $40k. I have a mate looking for one as
well and he is prepared to pay the money for a good one like Bens that already has accessories.
