Has anyone heard of this place and if so can you give me directions. I went there 20 odd years ago and found it to be a little paradise with gum trees, palms and a billabong with a white sandy beach. Killed that brain cell though and can't remember where it is.

Cheers

Had a look on my mapping and it shows up as Nichols Yard, which doesn't mean it's correct. NATMAP don't always have the same name as local names.

Yes the only "Bloodwood Yard" yard I can find is on the Ord River, upstream of Lake Argyle - no where near GRR. Will have to wait for Jeff to confirm or otherwise.

Thanks for the reply Greg. It is possibly what I am looking for but I am having trouble reding the map you attached. Do you have a better copy or can you tell me where I can find it so can check, Seems to be in the right area from memory but I would need the GPS coordinates to be sure.

Hi - if you click on the map a larger view is provided. The co-ords are provided....or do you need lat/long.

A look on goole earth shows it as being behind the community of Mt Barnett on the south side of the GRR.
