Hi All
Have my brother coming to visit from the UK in July and would like to take him for a day out fishing. Would prefer the reef rather than river as this is where we usually fish.
Can anyone recommend any good oporators?
Happy to spend $200 each.
Thanks Lyndon

Hi Lyndon
Run off fishing should be really good just now around
Darwin rivers and billabongs. Very easy to trawl a barra up. But if you want to fish in the salt water one of the best I know is Graeme Williams who runs Insight Fly Fishing out of Bynoe Harbour. He specialises in fly fishing but is a master of all styles and knows his fishing spots. Ph 0412 481 592 or go to his web site - www.insightflyfishing.com.au

G'day
I asked Jim Allen from the COMPLEAT ANGLER/FLYFISHER here in
Melbourne to recommend someone in the
Darwin area.Jim has spent most of his life fishing the worlds waters and knows the best people and
places.
He also recommends Graeme Williams from Crab Island Resort. He said to ask for Lenny as skipper

Hi Lyndon
Just to add - if you speak to Graeme or Dot pass on a hello from me - I used to live in
Darwin for years and I fly up every year from WA to compete in the Salt Water Fly comp out at Crab Claw. I will be looking forward to another comp this year. Graeme is always willing to help out the
Darwin Flyfishing Club competitions with his knowledge and helpful hints. Very easy going gentleman. He and his champion fisher wife restrict themselves to only going in the competitions every couple of years as we all know when they are in it they will win it.
The flyfishing competition awards 1 point per cm of any fish (catch and release) and last years winner gained 7402 points for the saltwater comp. She is a deadly angler and the only female who could possibly beat her and has also won the competition previously is Dot Williams.
