hi all , can anyone tell me which generator is quieter, the honda 2kva or yamaha 2400i? thanks

Identical according to the manufacturers websites,
Yamaha, Noise level (db A(7m) 54/59
Honda, Noise Level 59dB(A) (54*) (dB (A) @ 7m) (* = With Eco-Throttle on)

Also remember that the Honda is only rated continously at 1600W while the Yamaha is 2000W.

zacc, had the two running next to each other over the weekend on Eco mode and the Honda was quieter charging through a 20 amp charger

My brother has the honda 2kva but borrows my yamaha to run his aircon.Sounds about the same to me under load.hope this helps.
