They look very much like a rebadged Kipor.

When distributorship of Kipor went to Primus Australia they changed the colour of the case to blue and about the same time Genquip appeared in the yellow case.

Cheers,

Jim.

Hi, I have a 1 kva Kipor sinemaster that has been fine, quiet only thing that annoys me is when it is on smart throttle, the revs run a bit higher when the fridge cuts in and then it drops back soon after, apart from that no problems. cheers Kanga1

Isn't that what 'smart throttle' is meant to do?

looks like nobody has used a Genquip yet!

I am looking to test a Genquip 3.3kW if possible.

Hey just about all Generators are made in China.
Just depends on what specifications they are built to and what kind of an output they have.

Try to slightly oversize the generator, then it wont rev up as much as when a load comes on. also it probably will run quieter if it does not have to work on full throttle.
