I am off up that way next month and was thinking of going up to
Cairns and then back across to Mt Isa via Normantion...just for something different.
Is the road good enough for an on road van. I am under the belief that it is a Development Road ??
Cheers

You will be fine, it is black stuff the whole way, it is a bit narrow in
places just watch out for trucks throwing stones.
