Help please. I have a 96-97 Safari SWB GQ Y60. There are two seperate sensors wired to the thermostat housing and another into the right hand side of radiator near the top. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this model or have knowledge of what they all are? Many thanks.

On the thermostat housing 1 is for temp gauge and 1 is for glow plug system( tells timer how warm the engine is)

I can only guess that the 1 on the radiator is a low water level sensor.

To find out which 1 does what. Turn your ignition on and earth out the wires 1 by 1 and see what comes on on the dash.
The temp gauge should move over when the wire is earthed out and the water level light/alarm should activate when that wire is earthed out.
You wont see anything when earthing out the glow plug temp sensor wire.

Thanks for that Matt. The sensor on the radiator is impossible without removing other gear but I will lower the water level and see what happens! I am hoping it will be a level alarm as I am consiidering fitting a "Engine Saver" kit from your side of the ditch. Nothing on offer here.! There seems to be no wiring diagrams for this model short of buying the factory manual and supplements. Not Cheap! I will post the outcome.
