Hi all,

Just giving the Nissan a little spruce up after driving on some very soft sandy tracks and noticed the breather tube had seperated from the front diff housing.
Dont know how long its been off or how much cr@p has got in.

Not sure if there is a product I can use to flush the diff or would a strip and clean be the better option.

Cheers.....Lionel.

Lionel,

I had the same problem with Darkies rear diff.
I just changed the diff oil (and fixed the breather) and then changed the diff oil again after 1000kms

Cheers Kev

Hi mate,

Take it for a drive, get the diff up to working temp, then drain it.
Have a look at the oil, rub it between your fingers, should give you an idea if any sand got in.

Cheers,
Dennis
