well folks, i just got back from the Brindabellas.
how was it?? wet windy and wild.
we (a group of 3 4wds) went up Gentle Annie fire trail, through flee creek, up Webs Ridge trail, then up the powerline track. up two sticks, visited Mt Corrie, then back down and on brindabella rd.

it was snowing from the power line track up to corrie.....
the tyres did the job. put them down to 18psi and only slipped once or twice on the really clay slippery section.

we took a lot of time up there clearing the tracks ( moved about 15-20 trees from the road. so at the moment, its all clear, but judging by the wind, there will be a couple down over the night.

all in all, once again, a good day trip had by all.

only damaged the bull bar...hit a roo getting there on the tar....B$s%^%d roos... just gives me an excuse to buy a steel one

"Wet windy and wild". As an ex Canberran, as of July 2007, now living on the Gold Coast, I sit here in my sarong sipping my cool Charddy and - I'm glad I'm not there!
Glad you had a good day though.
June
