Chris,

If you have enough money any thing is possible.

A late model Troopie with the factory turbo would be a better vehicle to try and change to a auto.

I have had a couple of Troopies and I would have thought the suspension would have been more of a issue with a back problem rather than changing gears.

Take yourself and the troopy to a chiropractor . Get them to look at you sitting in the troopy and they will advise if you what replacementseat , shortened or lengthened gear lever etc etc etc .

Thanks guys for your replies, but the issue is the clutch. Can no longer drive a manual as engaging the clutch is not good for the back.

Hi Chris,

Recaro seats are the way to go. We have had ours in for 11 years and no back problems
