I haven't run into anything of consequence yet. Issues such as the outside wing mirrors "vibrating" at high speed, and a few other minor matters were all fixed by Jeep without question.
There is no doubt their resale value as a percentage of purchase price falls faster than (say) the rice-eaters. However, I carefully looked into this at the time. Let's say you pay $90 K for a new Cruiser and after 3 years, it's worth 70% of new value. That means it's worth $63 K and you've "done" $27 K lost value.
The other choice is to buy a Commander (say) at $60 K and after 3 years it's worth 60% of new value. You think that your resale value is bad compared to the Tojo, but you've actually "done" $24 K compared to a loss of $27 K on the Tojo.
In other words, the Jeep loses value as a % of new faster than the Tojo but actually loses less value in real dollars, and at the end of the day, that's what counts.
PS: I've had several L/C wagons before, as
well as two Patrol wagons, a L/R County V8 and Ford Explorer, and L/C Hilux. The L/C wagons are great vehicles, but just beware of the "hype" regarding resale values.
