Hi All,
Can anyone out there give me some opinions (good or bad) on the Whale Shark tour operators in
Exmouth. There are a number of these and we would quite like to have a personal experience recommendation or otherwise.
Thanks
Mike

I have used
Exmouth Dive Centre a few years ago.
Was good .. don't know about recent development. I was there around 10 years ago. After that I have been up there twice with own boat.

We went with King's and they were very good. We were slightly too late for the whale
sharks but snorkelled with Manta Rays, very impressive. Only hitch was a late start as their boat had broken it's moorings and they had to chase it out to sea before we could leave, but it was a great day. Swam with the manta's first then also snorkelled inside the reef. Great lunch too.

We were there in May 2008 and used King’s
Ningaloo Reef Tours. They did an excellent job. We saw around six whale
sharks, and about six of our passengers were free "repeats" from the previous day when no whale
sharks were spotted. The food and service were very good, but the best part was the implicit message that the crew were focussed on maximising the experience of their guests. Very
well done and highly recommended.

Last year, my wife went out with Three Islands Marine Charters, and was very happy with things, especially the attention to customer safety etc. including a rubber duckie ready for those who ran out of puff!

My advice would be see the whale
sharks out of
Coral Bay,less boats means more time to swim with them.I think there are only 2 charters that go out,at less there was only a couple of years ago.
Coral Bay Adventures is one not sure of the other.
Regards
Glyn
