Has anyone out there in Forum land had any experiences with Budget Insurance Co? The broker claimed they offered good cover (but you'd expect him to say that). I haven't seen the policy wording yet so I'll reserve judgement on that one. Their quote for a 1996 80 Series petrol, at market value, is $311 with a $450 excess. The price appears OK but it's the quality of cover that's important. If anyone has any information on Budget I'd be interested in hearing from you.

Hello Moose
Mate have had the wifes' 2 cars (Falcon & Fairlaine) with Budget for the last few years, their contract reads like most others. While they have always been competitive with premiums and I do compare and get quotes every year, however I have not as yet (touch wood) had to make a claim so cannot comment there.

Whats the fine print on offroading?? Covered for where?

Personally Id rather pay a few more $ to go with someone who has more chance of paying and being around in 12 mths time if I need them

YMMV

They wouldn't touch me as I had a 2 inch lift and a set of extractors fitted.
