As a further follow up, could please you advise is the Burke development road through Dunbar to the Peninsula road (near SW corner, Lakefield NP) open?
Thanks, furph

It will depend on the previous wet, on how deep the crossings are and the road conditions.

The crossing on the way to "Kolatah" is always a bit of a risk. You maybe better off going down to "Mount Mulgrave" and come out at "Fairview". Still a couple of river crossings but usually a bit better.

Does anyone know whether Dorunda camp has closed permanently or just for the wet season?

Has anyone visited Delta Downs? Do they allow camping?
