Any recommendations (or indeed warnings) of mechanics for Toyota servicing in the following?

Hi, I have had my LC 100TD serviced at
Alice Springs. Not Impressed. (They also do Nissan and I had a Patrol done there once too.) You will need to book like a week in advance.
I had the LC 100 TD serviced in Kunanurra last trip (06) and was satisfied with the work but it was dear. Had a chat with the owner and he was paying mechanics about 50% over the odds and flying them in and out each fortnight.
I stopped complaining.
Like everywhere, carry and supply your own oil!
