Hi everyone,, Planning a trip to Mackay in June/July,, hoping that some LOCALS know some good 4wd ares and camping areas around Mackay ( nth, sth and west of Mackay), difficulty of areas is not an issue,, any and all
feedback greatly appreciated

Cape Palmerston NP
North: Cathu SF
West:
Eungella NP, Captain's Crossing, Mount Brittian, Credition SF
The "dirty weekends - central queensland" book did cover all of these areas....not sure if they still make it now.
Some some starters for you to research.
