Hello,
We are planning a trip from the Angus Valley in SA to
Alice Springs via The Flinders and travelling the Old Ghan Route.
We will have two horse drawn Gypsy Caravans, a Morris A40 ute and an assortment of older kids and dogs. We estimate approx 2 months to travel the distance.
Can anyone advise how we could find out sources of potable water on the trip as we will need to carry enough for four horses as
well as the people between watering holes.
Thanks

Suggest you try SA Water to start with
Link
They might be able to put you in contact with the right people to find out where water bores, throughs and dams might be.
Cheers
