OK Mark,

This is the piles of firewood that we cut.........

I guesstimate that there is about 10t of firewood, please note that not all of this is for the Gathering. My parents are going to use some for heating during winter. It is all Red Gum with some Sandlewood.

I will update the Trip note as well as do another update thread soon to advise of the current updates for the Gathering.

Cheers Kev

Thanks for the work,

By the last photo, the site looks a bit steep. Didn't realise they had such big hills outside St George. :o)

Could make it interesting if it gets a bit wet. Who is bringing the recovery gear?

John,

It is as flat as anything there LOL

I had to use the recovery gear on Mark's Missan to get him out of a little hole when we were out cutting some of the fire wood hahahaha

Geez, after your mammoth job cutting all that wood, I hope there isn't any fire bans.

Well done Mark and Kev.

Dave,

I doubt there will be a fire ban.

I have organised for the area around the Shed as well as the adjacent block where the camping will be to be mown the week before the gathering.

That Open Shed is about 9m x 12m enclosed on 2 sides with lights and an external spot light, which will be great for the night activities.

Cheers Kev
