bush camping near bourke any?

Hi everyone,
In the next school holidays we are going to take another family with 4 kids for a camping trip to cameron's corner from Maclean, then to whit cliffs, to walget do the darling river run back to bourke. What I am after does anyone know of any safe bush camping on the road outside Bourke will be comming from Brewarrana and may be there in time to head out the road to Warraning(spelling is not right). It is just that they have 4 kids and they would like to do it as cheap as possible. I was wondering if there is anywhere suitable out towards Pera Bore.
