Hi everyone,
In the next school holidays we are going to take another family with 4 kids for a camping trip to cameron's corner from Maclean, then to whit cliffs, to walget do the
darling river run back to
bourke. What I am after does anyone know of any safe
bush camping on the road outside
Bourke will be comming from Brewarrana and may be there in time to head out the road to Warraning(spelling is not right). It is just that they have 4 kids and they would like to do it as cheap as possible. I was wondering if there is anywhere suitable out towards Pera
Bore.

After you turn onto the Wanarring road you come to a river/
creek crossing, cross and turn left down a bit of a track to
camp sites.
Not sure on the distance, but you will see it.

Hi Barbara
If you contact the
Bourke Tourist Information Centre on 02 6872 1222 they can tell you whether May's Bend is accessible or not. It was great when we were there a couple of years ago. From memory its about 15 k's out of town. Right on the riverbank. Ask them for a mud map. Here's a
