Don't know why but I decided to see when I made my first post/follow-up contribution.
My research has taken me back to 12 June 2002.( all 70 pages and 100
views per page ) This is using the Search Function and typing in all the names I went under which I can remember....lol
I recognise quite a number of regulars posting even though their names have changed too over time. I cringe at some of the things I said in posts but I suppose everything to do with the internet is a great learning curve. I see that I raised the ire of a certain Bob Allan (not sure if he is still around?) about Landrovers on 29 August 2002.
But I have tempered my posts over the years and now cruise under guidance from time to time.
Anyway, I am going bush on 28th May and will be off-line until the beginning of September or thereabouts.
Cheers

Well now I feel like the new bloke,
My first reply was the 27th Feb 2003, my first question was 24 Mar 2003.
No doubt Willem when you get back from your wanderings you will have more to post about.
Keep safe on your travels.
Wiluna.......might have to start planning now.

I couldn't find the 29 Aug post you referred to. What is the post number. Maybe you were Collins (or Tony) :-)
Interesting to go back over those early posts.
My first post was Mar 02.
Thank goodness that loser (and all his aliases) with the Land rover complex has gone. I doubt he'd get away with posts like that today.
Anyway my D2 is still running strong, and the D3 has been acclaimed by all and has taken the world by storm. The word schadenfreude comes to mind.
There were so few members back then. Its hard to believe how much its grown. Congratulations to David Michelle et al. You can see why I was a bit antsy when someone started using this
forum to promote a competitor.
Yep, as my neighbour Matt said, I'm still around.
