Refer to Post 6623. There's a few suggestions in there.

I bought the tank over eBay... it was
home made... 60 litre... stainless steel and tig welded... It is near brand new but it seems a bit dirty inside... That's why i need to steralize it b4 i use it for
drinking water.

Plain old bleach kills (almost?) every germ or bug known to man.
And it's cheap...................
The added bonus is bleach tends to put a bit of a shine on stainless, removes all the stains. Wipe down a dirty sink with bleach on a scouring pad and you will see what I mean.

I am going to mount it on my trailer.
I have a trailer made from
the tub of a Series II Land Rover. It is perfect length for it.
