Suspension

There is an unfortunate but realistic fact about purchasing a new 4WD - it won't come fitted with a suspension system designed to carry the kind of load you'll pack for a serious outback trip.

hey. i am gettin a set of 6 leaf, leaf springs for my rodeo, does neone no approx how much extra lift i will get, and r extended shackels illegal in QLD cuz everoner tells me they r so yeh.

APPRENTIC MEC :-) Interpretation for us that still use English - Hello! I am getting a set of six leaf springs for my Rodeo, does anyone know approximately how much extra lift I will get and are extended shackles illegal in QLD? (Everyone tells me this is so).

Depending on how the springs are set is how much lift you will have. You can go down to the spring man and get your standard springs reset 2" Higher. I have Standard springs with 2 leafs extra fitted. My lift kit also came with the Snake Racing extended shackles. I think you have heard right, extended shackles are not allowed in QLD.
