We are currently designing a slide on camper for our tray back Hilux. At present we are looking for adjustable jack stands to enable us to set up the camper and drive the car away. Any ideas on suppliers?

Thats where I got
mine from and they gave me a very good delivery price to FNQ as
well. They work a treat and they are a very good price compared to others. They are H/D and I think about 50kg for all 4, so adds to your carry weight. I welded my bracket to the top of the winder so I can lift quite high if needed. Have a look at my profile and you will see how they are set up. I will give you close ups if you wish. I made a box in the camper to store them, we only take them when we are going to
camp in one place for a while.
A couple of tips. Drill 1/2" holes in the bases so you can put a large tent peg through the base. Then weld lugs on the legs so you can put cross brace chains on (with a turnbuckle). This way when you remove the camper you can tighten the braces and there is no rocking and rolling :-). Cheers Tony

Thanks Tony and Julie
It's certainly the best range of jacks I've found to date. Thanks for the extra tips - it is appreciated
