anyone know how to replace the bulb in my CF50 Waeco Fridge.

I can remove the light 'unit' from the wall of the fridge (exposing the wires etc) but I cannot see a way to clip off the clear plastic part to expose the bulb.

I have used force to some extent but I feel that if I force it any harder I will break it. Is there a 'trick' to it or am I missing something obvious?

Ta,

From the user manual of my CF50 vera

press the switch pin (fig 10 2, page 5) downwards so that the transparent part (fig 10 1, page 5) of the lamp can be removed at the front.
Replace the light bulb.
Press the lamp back into the housing.

Don't have to push the switch down on mine , it just clips out and there is a festoon bulb accessible in the back of the light.
Your's must be different to mine.

thanks for this. Will have a closer look at it tnt. I wasn't pressing down on the switch which is probably why it didn't even feel like coming off.

Vague idea on my 2002 model CF50 you use a fine Phillips head screw driver to remove 2 screws just above the light that holds the switch printed circut board unit in,, lift off the switch cover unit, then you can get the light cover off.
