Vehicle ex Telstra with this little feature
The hot tap tho iust spins& for the life of me I can not seem to fix it. Pour the
water in the reservoir & out she comes.Does anyone have one of these units & have had the same problem. Can anyone offer the solution to fix it.
Pretty handy unit if OK with 8 litres of
water at 60 degrees
I have emailed Kinetics but so far no reply
Luv a frothy

Perhaps it's a 'push-pull' style tap !!

Problem solved.
Kinetics Engineering contacted me am.
Have now got the plastic tap body out of the unit
Nothing like an ordinary tap as it is plastic.
the outer case of the body had broken off at the base,& therefore stuck in unit
The edge of a screw driver at the point where it broke & a bit of pressure & we had enough movement to get it out
Kinetics can supply new tap body for $16.50 which to fit will take 30 seconds
The link to Kinetics shows the units which are very handy for supplying hot
water for the weary traveller

Hi Daz, As a side issue, how do you find the Patrol?
I am looking at one (ex Telstra) at the present and tossing up between that and a 03 RV Troopy (with high km).
On the face of it, it looks like if you can get a good one then they have a lot to offer.
Regards
Mark

give me a call or email me from my profile with your number & I will ring you
There are a few available in SA at wholesale prices.
I found out who was driving
mine in Telsta & gave him a call Pretty reassuring.
Have also spoken with the servicing dealers.
