Tuck Give us a go! - Like any of us are going to tell you about our special fishing spots. Nice Try :-).
Anywhere you find water on that trip you will find the birds.
From
Lawn hill go through Burktown and ask the locals where to have a fish.
Normanton side of Burktown you have the Lichart river, good fishing and heaps of birds. Closer to Normanto you have the Flinders, Bynoe and Littl Bynoe. All fish good if you have a high tide down the bottom side. Also heaps of birds.
Normanton you can go across the town common and fish off the Norman river bank. Also you can take the Old
Croydon Road and do the same. Ask at the Tackle
shop and the owner will give you some spots.
Karumba point off
the beach is great. On the Burk Development Rd you will cross plenty of rivers but I do not if you can get off the road to fish them anymore. Have not been that way for a few years. You can contact the Station owners and see if they will let you have a go.
There is a few and I still have my special spots all secret :-(. Cheers Tony
